Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Founder & CEO, has led the evolution of VideoMining from a technology startup to a successful industry leader for in-store marketing intelligence. Dr. Sharma is recognized as a pioneer in automated human behavior analysis and its application to market research. Dr. Sharma is a frequent speaker at industry events and a thought leader on shopper marketing research. Prior to founding the company, Dr. Sharma was a tenured faculty at The Pennsylvania State University and a research faculty at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a PhD from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Mr. Tom Sullivan, President, has over 35 years of experience in marketing services, consulting and consumer packaged goods industry. He has held executive and senior management positions at Nielsen, Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), Marketing Corporation of America, Colgate Palmolive and Unilever. Prior to joining VideoMining, he was the President of SheridanGlobal, Inc., shopper market research Company. While at Nielsen, he was the business development leader for the new in-store initiative called PRISM for audience measurement at Retail. In that capacity, he worked extensively with retailers in grocery, drug, and mass channels including Wal-Mart. Mr. Sullivan holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.
Ms. Priya Baboo, EVP Shopper Insights & Strategy, is responsible for the overall management, direction, and development of the shopper insights practice area and client service account groups. She is an experienced marketing research professional, and for over 10 years has conducted a wide variety of research and development of actionable insights for the consumer packaged goods industry. Ms. Baboo is a regular speaker at several leading trade conferences, including Shopper Insights in Action. She has an M.S. in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Madras in India. Ms. Baboo is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Honor Society in Business and Management.
Mr. David Haubert, VP of Business Development, joined VideoMining from the Marketing Strategies team at Safeway where he served as Director, Manufacturer Collaboration for three years. While at Safeway, Mr. Haubert provided direction, structure, strategic vision and oversight for the retailer’s vendor partnership program, manufacturer-initiated in-store testing program and manufacturer use of loyalty shopper card data. Prior to Safeway, Mr. Haubert held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of brand management, category sales development and category management with Nestle, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream and PepsiCo. Mr. Haubert resides in the Northern California Bay Area city of Dublin where he and his wife of 20 years raise three children. A leader in his community, Mr. Haubert has been a Trustee of Unified School District in Dublin, California for eight years and served as President of the Board for the past two years. Mr. Haubert has an MBA from UCLA and a BS in Finance from California State University, Northridge.
Ms. Tripti Thapa, Director of Finance & Operations, manages all financial and operational matters of the company. She is responsible for day-to-day management as a well as helping company meet its strategic financial and operational goals. She holds a Bachelors degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Ms. Eun-Mo Huh, Director of Retail Analytics, has more than ten years of experience in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence and plays a key role in developing retail insights. Prior to joining VideoMining, Ms. Huh worked for multi-national companies like Samsung and Philip Morris, Camelot (UK National Lottery Operator) and LG Electronics where she designed Customer Relation Management and Key Performance Index reporting systems and developed corporate/product strategies. Ms. Huh earned her MBA degree from the Korea Development Institute School and her Master and Bachelor degrees of Science from POSTECH, Korea and started her career as a system engineer/analyst for business intelligent systems. As a part of the MBA program, Ms. Huh studied in Jonkoping International Business School, Sweden, and worked in England as a retail CPG product analyst.
Mr. Namsoon Jung, VP Innovation and Research, is responsible for developing and implementing IP management strategies for VideoMining Corporation. He also helps in research and development activities for patent protected technologies of the company. Mr. Jung has a M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, a M.A. in Computer Science from the City University of New York, and a B.A. from the Korea University, Seoul Korea.
Mr. Matthew Parent, VP Video Analytics, is responsible for the definition, development and delivery of products by leveraging VideoMining’s patented-protected technologies. Prior to joining VideoMining, he worked on automated, real-time surveillance systems. Mr. Parent holds two baccalaureate degrees from the University of Rochester.
Mr. Dilip Hari, VP Product Development, is responsible for definition, development, deployment and maintenance of VideoMining’s proprietary data pipeline. He has over 6 years of experience developing software for image processing and computer vision applications including leveraging VideoMining’s unique computer vision ecosystem for Human Computer Interaction (HCI). Mr. Hari has an MS in Electrical And Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
